OK well I went down to Huntington Beach today to watch some games. I went to go check out the g7 during a break. Here is what i thought. It is a really sweet gun but way overpriced. I found most of the things on it to be superfluous. The grips on the mini reg felt very wierd and the grips on the frame were not nearly as nice as the 05 speed. The twisty thing on the back was kinda odd to me and ruined the look. I did not care for the milling because it sorta swoops down at the back which destroys the classic angel look. Overall I would be happy with an 05 speed but if you want to spend the money this thing perform great but not much better than the Speed.

I'll wait to post my vote until I get mine in my hands. I will say that for me to fork out the $$$ to buy one might mean that I will see the light of what I get rather than the darkness of what I don't have.

I did actually shoot it and I just wasn't that impressed. I am entitled to my own opinion

wat loader did you shoot it with? we shot it with a modded "super-halo" and it shot seriously the fastest i have ever seen of any gun in real life or on video

really wow. What kind of mods. I used an Angry halo which is super fast too. I personally just as fast as the 05 speed. My friend has a DM5 with a sweet chip which is scary too.
when you say overpriced what do you mean by it? I mean if you look at the rest of the gun market most are right around 1495 for a companies flagship marker. When I was first getting back into paintball the IR3 was like 2,200 or so. DM5 is like 1495 Ripper, and other timmies (that are no different then the older timmies just look different) are 1495 Ego is like 1300. G7 seems well priced to me (when considering what you get) I think that the o5 speed is just such a sick deal it makes everything look overpriced. For me though I would (will, am soon, one day end of summer.. hurry up and be over summer!)spend the extra 400 and get the latest, and greatest. If you think about all the different features the G7 offers. LCD, all new design (inside, and out) Newer eyes ect, so on, and so forth I think you will see where the extra money comes in. The Flys are selling for what 1395 right now? So only for another 100 bucks you get the most up-to-date marker WDP has to offer. Dunno just seems right to me. Also I understand were you are coming from with the looks. I am the type of person that sticks with what I know I like, but I really dig the new look of the angel. As for the new grips.. I thought they were the same as the o5? If the are different even better, now we have 2 sets of grips to choose from (they are interchangeable I would assume seeing they have the same grip) I hope there are a few out there that buy the G7, and don't like it though... Then I can buy a LNIB one for less! LOL It all boils down to what you like though. Different strokes for different folks... As long as we both agree on WDP being hands down the best company we can sit in the same room together ...... ;) You say Speed.. I say whatever you want to give me for free I'll shoot.. otherwise I'm buying a G7.. :D

I think he means that its overpriced because its an Angel. I mean youd pay 1500 for it then itd be worth 1000 in a few months. If i bought a DM5 (1350) itd stay 1350 for atleast a year. If youre not happy with the G7 then just buy an 05 speed with a newton valve, because without some minor ups, thats basically waht it is.

actually angel hold their value really well. I was just saying it is 50% more than an 05 speed and in my eyes it is not 50% better. Once again that is my opinion.

One BIG up the G7 has is the fact that is has the 15 BPS software already in it! That right there will save you a few bucks when wanting to either send your marker in to get it flashed, or buying a new Board...

I have a question about the psp mode. I turned the g7 on that mode and it can't be legal. I pull the trigger and then let go and it keeps fireing crazy but kinda cool and dangerous

It may not be 50% better, but its just the feeling of having the best up to date gun on the planet that makes this gun so great. It's built to outshoot every other gun, and thats what it does so be happy with it.

now you understand the angel experiance =). jetwing- are you saying it shoots faster than a force fly. rember it isnt capped

yes it shoots faster then a force fly, but in addition to speed there is extremely little kick and the valve internals are much better on paint

Two things:
1. For 1500, it'll be surprising NOT to have that software stock.
2. What's 25 compared to 1500.... :0

Ive been seeing DM4's going for 750-900 for about 6-8 months used.... I don't think they hold there value any more than an angel. as a matter of fact go look at the fly B/S/T section Fly's are really holding there value
