Hello All, hey based on some of your experience with newer angels and what you know so far about the G7 what do you think the effeciency will be?
I ordered a G7 which will be here soon but now I'm wondering if my LP 45/45 will be suffecient enough for 7-minute games in the back.
basicly how many pods should I expect?
and also whoever was posting on here that they already got the G7 how quiet is it, cause Im also thinking what barrel?

The only people that have them are the MTs.
Jim [not quite a MT but close] has one as he is associated with Mark at Impact and he is the one saying how quiet it is.
I'd say go with the 68 if you are in the back, even most front players use the 68.

A 45/4500 might be cutting it close, however what are you shooting now that allows you to play back with a 45/4500? I personally have a 68/4500 for my speed 05 and am on the border of having just enough air for a 45/4500. I know tanks are not cheap in any way but I am planning on getting a 45/4500 tank just to try so I know for sure

Ive got a 45/45 and carry 3 pods. Good combo.
Ted Id swap my peanut for your 45/45... I am planning on getting a 45/45 anyway. We could both save some cake. ALthough last Time I tried putting your 45 on my gun I couldn't get my gun to croney under 300. Dunno. Hope you don't have the same problem with the G7. I think you would be fine with a 45/45 anyways. But not big deal either way. We can just trade.

right now Im shooting a Ironman Timmy which with a 45/45 I can get a full hopper and 7 more pods of 140. its the lightest tank there is and tucks nice, it would be a great addition to the G7.. thanks for the posts

Well the only way to be sure is to try. I'm sure you wouldn't mind running some paint through your new G7 anyways =D

From the sounds of the reviews and the mechanical description, my first thoughts were varied. It is a whole new design pretty much inside and out so I am sure initially the efficiency will be marginal because they will still need to work out all of the kinks that will come along. But once everything works itself out I believe this marker has the potential to be one of the most efficeint if not THE most effecient marker on the market. A 68/4500 is a good choice for players all around because it is such a versitile size. If you play Xball, sometimes a ruch between points will cause you to just grad the closest marker and go, and 68/4500 works best for this situation. My advice, upgrade to a 68/4500, and it will be the last tank you will ever need.

i remember people laughed when i carried 13 pods on the field and had a 68/4500 tank on my cyborg.... id come off the field shooting 11, and still have 1500 psi left in the tank... id love to see wdp be able to touch that efficiency, but i still love my fly more than that cyborg... had to rip apart every time u used it

Well, with my Fly I have been known to go on the field with 11 pods and come off with 10 empty. That's with a 68/45, and I had around 300psi left. LOL, once I had a ref picking up pods after the game and just shaking his head. He said he thought I was crazy carrying that much paint on the field, until he saw me laying down a constant stream of cover for 5 minutes. My front guys really appreciate it.
