i received my update kit 2 days ago and screwed on the all delrin hammer, and found that it was crooked. nothing sever it would still fit in the tube and strike the valve fine but it was definatily off canter.

just FYI for everybody that got the kit to check that...the all delrin hammer is amazing on how it decreaced the kick from the hammer with the metal topping. but if its too off center it may affect the meshing of bolt and hammer

i also did a little mod on the cone portion of my lpr kit. i just drilled a hole striaght donw the middle, or at least it was clost to straight down the middle. if its off-center like mine it dosnt really matter as long as it comes out touching one of the milled down paths or the center where they merge. if it comes out on a flat section you may have to make your own path to the hole if you want it to work

ill let you guys know if it affects recharge rate tonight after i get a fill to test it

the LPR mod is vary good, increses the adjusters stability; consistancy, and rechargerate phenonamly

actualy i found the opposite well not opposite just ehhh

basicily it didnt do jack...im gonna make the hole larger tho

i just took out the spring and cone peice of my kit and it increaced the recharge rate dramaticly...you just adjust it like before you had the kit

Sharps, I think the delrin hammer may be off centered due to the delrin shavings still being stuck inside the threading after they tapped the hole. I'm still using my originaly metal faced delrin hammer but eventually will switch it out with the all delrin once the kit is broken in and pressures are dropped.

what size did you drill the hole? i think i did mine 3/16ths inch on a lathe. worked, wasnt as staright as i would have liked but worked nonoe the less.

thing is, although they "say" it will, i think if the peices dont align properly when installed, you wont have anything useful. you gotta get it set so that when the spring compressed, the pittpel mushroom peice sits in the cup of the brass (actually aluminum) peice inside the adjuster. you can try w/o the spring installed, but if that thing bobs oughta position you're §§§§ed.

ok, i ordered me an evolve kit v2 because i thought all the kinks were worked out. Are you telling me that I have to drill a hole in something when I get it? Frick, I suck at machining things.

if you have problems with their external LPR adjuster, the drilling will likely solve. however, you may not have problems.

The V2 should ship with the LPR cones already drilled
