Checked the mail yesterday to find my evolve kit finally came. So i took all the parts out of the tube, checked them over and noticed a few "oddities".
The LPR cap was missing the adjuster screw (no problem though I'll just hit the hardware store for a M4X12mm screw - thanks trig). I also carefully removed the shavings from the delrin hammer and moved onto the valve stem with the new cup seal.
Upon close examination I'm a little concerned. The rod, when spun in my hand seems to have a slight bend to it. Also, the cup seal looks to be just a tad rough around the face that is supposed to seal against the valve body. I'm worried that the combinatiion will effect valve seal.
Anyone notice any similarities on their kits?
I'm picking up the required shims today to get my LPR pressure set so I can install the kit but I have a bad feeling about the valve portion.
Just wondering if anyone had problems with theirs, before I go through mine....

in my original kit there was a slight bend in the rod but it didnt matter
as for the shims you really dont need them...its just recomeneded so that you can change your lpr anywhere from 100 to like 10 or however low it will go. if you throw it on there running at 65 or whatever you shot notice a slight decreace but you can still run it anywhere from the pressure that it reads when you throw it on there stock and the adjuster flush with the body.
the valve seal should b fine since it will wear down after it breaks in...you might start out with a very slight leak from the cupseal but it will go away after awhile

Thanks sharps.
I'll still be picking up some shims for the LPR cap installation. I'll post what happens after I install tonight.

O.K. didn't get any shims today, the "local" store was out. So I took sharps advice and just walked through everything else. Installed the kit, set my LPR for 45psi, loaded my hopper, filled my tank and walked out to the feild. First impression was WOW! This thing don't kick at all. I fired some practice shots then started walking. No drop-offs. O.K. now I'm impressed. Here i didn't go by optimal settings and I noticed definate improvements. Once I get more trigger time with it I'll have a better understanding - BUT I'm glad I got it instead of the JAM bolt (something about having to swab the bolt to open the breech didn't set well with me). Besides, the kit is RED and works.

I thought you got the new V2 kit, wasn't it supposed to be the smaller volumizer on both the LPR and exhaust side?

Yes,,, Hmmm,,, Well what it is exactly is this. I wanted the dust red kit (limited run) looks great on the Rasta you see. So I had to get the larger volumizer. They are not making the FULL V2 kit in any color other than black and clear. But I guess you could say I have the V1.5 kit because it comes with the new cup seals. Anywho, I stated V2 because of the newer cup seals.
