Halo battery q

I did search on this topic, but came up with few results, even fewer of which actually gave me useful information.

Ok, I would like to know exactly how to do the 2 9v mod to the battery harness of the halo. Im running it on 1 9v now, but it eats through batteries and is just as fast as the 6 AA's.
