I just upgraded to an IR3 from tippy 98. I have the stock 2 finger trigger and am wondering if i can buy a 3 finger trigger or do I have to have one custom made?

Thanks

custom made is your only optioni to the best of my knowledge. you'll have to cut the trigger frame too. good luck with that.

i will say you made a smart move from a M98 to an Angel.

Great choice, and welcome to the family. As far as I am also aware, there is no '3-finger' trigger. Depending on the size of your hand you might be able to just get one of the blade triggers and go to town with that one. If not, then cutting the cutlass, unless it's already been removed, and having a custom trigger made may be your only option.

If you have small fingers the MT trigger will work good for that. I can get three fingers on mine, but I have a bit bigger fingers so it is hard to walk it fast like that. But I don't think you need a custom trigger. If your fingers are to fat for the stock trigger to use three fingers just learn with two. You will be able to shoot it plenty fast enough. I use teh MT trigger, and can easly hit 16-21 BPS without any effort. 24 if I am hyper.

thanks for they replies, the custom way is kinda what i figured. I will probably try to learn to walk 2 fingers but I can already walk pretty darn fast if I get my ring finger going along too so I figure hey what the heck get 1/3 faster.

also I have been reading up on the to drop or not to drop threads and I get it that it is all preference, and I do not plan on using a drop. However I have seen in pictures of a drop kinda thing that puts the HPA still right at the end of the grip but kicks it at like a 30 degree angle up (i think so it will sit in your arm a little better), where could i find this, i have gone to several sites and cant find anything like that?

Im glad to be in this new family, I have only been playing paintball for a couple of months but I "tore em up" this weekend with the new angel. Any help i appreciated

Thanks man, you rock. thats what im talkin about. What is the "fly" I have seen alot of posts about how awesome it is but nothing really saying what it is. My friend just got the "predator mod" and seems to like it. I know newby questions and all, this might be spelled out somewhere else that i have not seen.

if you FLY your angel it's putting the new Angel FLY4 board in the grip along with the Break Beam Eyes that come with it. makes your angel basicly as good as the new Fly that is out now.

yeah pretty much what Eclipse said.

here is a link to the MT's site I had my gun Flied through. http://www.performanceangel.com/info.php

that will give you the info on the conversion. Yours would fall under the A4 category I think. So it should cost around 300. The retro Mod is the way to go. I have seen the pred's in action. They are nice. But nothing like having the gun flied. You get to keep your LCD screen, and all the great features that came with it. Plus this is backed by WDP themselves. the conversion is done with ALL WDP parts, and looks like a factory install. If you have ever seen some of the other ACE installs you will notice that a lot of them use JB weld to hold the eyes in place, looks like §§§§, and a pain to clean. with the retro mod you can remove the eyes with ease.

My converted A4.

check that video out. It is a 2000, or 2001 LCD with the conversion done to it.

you have seen the video section of the forums right? Check it out if not. You will find a lot of converted angels there http://www.angel-owners.com/forumdisplay.php?f=115

I know it sounds expensive, but the Fly Conversion is what you're going to want when it comes time to get an upgrade. It will replace COPS, which is a great idea but has software issues, with a break-beam eye system that makes your baby crazy fast. One of the best parts, is that since it's performed by a MT and uses WDP parts, it's all under warranty. It's my understanding that if you try and Pred or Chaos or ACE your marker a lot of the techs won't even touch it.

cool thanks for the infor guys. I do have a friend that has had an ir3 for a couple of years and he helped me adjust the trigger and did change the settings (dwell, mrof etc...), but i still have not had enough time to get used to it. maybe ill get fly down the road.
