Opto diagram/pic's

Any of you guys know where I can find zoomed in pic's of the opto switch? I would like to see how it works/operates. Any links or pics would be great.

EDIT: Search feature only listed an overview photo, I want to see how you are actually breaking a beam of light, or however it works. Just curious.....

I don't have a pic but from what I understand it's like this:
