I installed a FreeFlow and a Jackhammer 2 lpr, went to air it up a little while ago and the solenoid is making the horrible squealing noise... air is coming out of the forward most exhaust hole above the 'niod... also when I try and fire it it will fire one good shot and then it'll cycle like the pressure is real low...

I switched out the Jackhammer for a Maxflo and I'm getting the same thing...

I don't have the freeflow mod, but I also have a horrible sqealing sound coming from my breech area... the air is leaking so fast that i can barely get through a game with 4500 psi... I didn't notice any shootdown like him^ though

edit: I have an LCD though... but it sounds like the same problem that he is having with his LED so any help would be appreciated

Mine is coming from the Solenoid itself, when I air it up I can feel the backplate vibrating a little.. the squealing is pretty loud...

Oh... I'm not sure if mine is coming from the noid, all i know is it's coming form around that area. I would check to see if my backplate is vibrating but I don't have any air... but yeah it's a reallllllllllllllly loud, high pitched sqealing sound.

Nonamifrontman- I am not sure what exactly would have caused that. Was it working fine before you did the conversion? I have never heard anything good about the conversion, so I am not sure. Have you tried going back to your original set-up without the FF mod? and see if it works then or if you still have the leak from the solenoid. You might have just blown an o-ring and that could fix your problem.

Thefword000- if you are leaking from your breech area, it is more than likley either a valve or exhaust valve problem. I would take out your entire right tube. Take the ram, hammar, valve, LPR, everything out. Clean it out with a swab. Check all your O-rings on your ram, valve, and LPR. Also change your exhaust valve( they are like $7 bucks) lube up all the o-rings and put your gun back together and that should fix your problem. Worst case would be that your solenoid is blown or something, but fromt he sounds of it I dont think yours is blown.

It was workin before I put the FF in there... I need to make a lpr lockpin before I can put the stock one back in, I cut the stock one so I could try the FF, makin one isnt a big deal...

I really wanna get my LED lighter... I was thinking about putting a timmy solenoid in there instead of the stock one and the big metal can the stock 'noid is attached to... how does that come out? I noticed one setscrew on top of the LED by the forward most exhaust vavle, I took that out but there really isnt any way, that I notice, to get that can out. My idea is buy a timmy 'noid, tap barbs into the approriate air passages and wire it into the Morlock board Im gonna get soon. Whaddya think?
