How many alien abduction LED's were made?

Like the title, how many were made? In purple?

If you never found out, here's just a bit of infoz. I was working at a paintball store when these guns came out. There were 100 guns in total spread out in I BELIEVE 7? colors. Blue black green red silver purple gold and chrome. Some guns were made in higher quantity than others in certain colors. The purple, green, chrome and gold were the ones that got the short end of the stick, and the word at the time was that those 4 colors were made in a quantity of 7 each. Some say 10. But in any case, 7 or 10, it's damn rare. I have one :) serial 5422 hehe.

When I first bought mine, I was able to track down 5 of them in the U.S. One in NY/NJ (mine) one in Calif (stolen) one in Illinois, one in Florida, and 2 in another state (can't remember which ATM)

hmmm... they have straight milling and the alien head at the feedneck? One of my teammates had one, had a cloudy purple and black anno, prolly custom, but it shot great. I hbavent talked to him in a couple years though.

I happen to have a purple alien led (#5455) and i'm playing with it on my team right now. Never chopped a single ball or had any problems- pretty good considering its an older gun, and the best part is- it was free!! Got it for christmas from a friend of mine that had bought about 50+ markers from a collector. Included in this deal were my angel, 1 black non-alien edition, and 1 silver angel non alien (all led's). Aside from 2 base model (2000?) autocockers, the other guns in the package were lower-end. Needless to say, my friend diddnt know what he had and I was extremely lucky to come across this rare gun.

I have a chrome one Ser#5084, Currently in pieces-needs a new loom. When I picked it up it also had [has] the first Dezigns [sic] bolt Ser#001 engraved in rear of bolt. Perhaps soon I should get a new loom and use it again.

Ya I know there available- only part I can't get locally is the buggered part the board connector. I'll have to break down maybe this winter when the season moves inside and I take a break from building my car again. Has'nt been an issue though gave my son my eclipse to use and upgraded to an 06 speed. Thanks though.

I went out and played last weekend in 99 deg. temps.
and I shot 2500 balls and didn't chop any!

I couldn't be any happier.

Im pretty sure what you have in your possession is the "Stars and Stripes" Edition, which is another limited run WDP did back in the day. Look at the milling, does it not resemble a flag? Im 99.9% sure, I was around this sport and in love with angels back when these things were new, and Stars and Stripes, Aliens and Planet Eclipses were the shiat.

The purple LED that Einstein1905 has is a truth series LED, they were released at Skyball. The stars and stripes LED had stars milled in where his holes are in front of the breech. I have never seen a Alien Abduction without the alien head and they have horizontal bars in front of the breech.

BTW, I have asked WDP 3 times over the past year, how many Alien Abductions were made, and have gotten 3 different answers. Frasier of WDP, supposedly the most knowledgeable, said 50 each of 5 different colors, purple, blue, green, gold and black (black having a double trigger). But even that does not sound right, because I have seen a silver one.

I will bet you I have the only Alien Abduction with a matching Alien Mascot!
