if someone had the time to write down something about the features of the ir3, it would have been NiCE.

go to www.wdp.tv/manuals
read the manual for the IR3
then go to :blasting: www.smartparts.com
and find the manual for the maxflo
as the Great paki always Says RTFM

well that depends. I clean my IR3's internal every month. Clean out all the old grease and apply new grease on all of the oring seals as well as grease the LPR and the shims.
I don't have a maxflo but I know there are rebuild kits out there for it. Usually a drop of FORCE OIL in there before you connect the tank does the trick lubricating it.
Please note:::
I said force oil in the Maxflo, not the tank, it is dangerous to put oil in a tank either in the Regulator or fill nipple. Never let anyone do this to your tank saying it will fix it. EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
cause it wont. It will only make things worse like blowing up your tank, under your arm, while your playing.

oil under the pressure that is in the tank is somthing u dont wont to play with... but there is a difference from putting it inn the tank and using the tank pressure to move to move it around... aint that so?

1) oil in the ASA is fine. This get's distributed through the internals of your gun.
2) Oil in the Air tank is not fine. This is dangerous.
The oil you put in the ASA will not get into the tank

No That is wrong as well. you don't want oil in your tank for any reason whatsoever. It does not matter what you were told NEVER EVER EVER put oil anywhere IN your air tank. EVER!!!!!

Air in the fill nipple=no no
Air in the macroline that is always at under 900psi = ok
The difference is about 3000psi.
Know how a diesel engine works? You take drops of diesel mixed with air and squeeze it until there is enough energy created [from compressing air] to make the diesel [orrr say paintball gun oil?] explode.
Paintball oil into fill nipple, then jam in a bunch of compressed air. BANG you just lost the upper half of your body. I'm not joking in the least.
