I have tried greasing all of the 3 orings and putting love juice on them but this leak will just not go away. It is a very minor leak and I probably wouldn't have noticed it except for the fact that my Angel AIR pressure dropped about 2000psi in 10 hours overnight. This is the only leak I can find so does anyone know what I should do to fix this?

By the way, my Angel is running about 5 bar.

I had the same problem and this is how I fixed it.

At first I thought some grease on the orings would help but they obviously didn't, so I simply put in a new valve and stem. Sometimes you can get away with just a new stem, but if that doesn't fix it then you will need a new valve as well.

The valve stem has this plastic over the broad area, so when you think about how often that stem is moving back and forth you'll realize that the plastic will eventually wear out as it beats against the face of the valve. Probably not to the point where it is visibly evident that it's causing a leak but it will. Just the slightest imperfection can cause it to let air through.

If your Angel AIR is dropping its air in that amount of time chances are its your regulator thats causing the air to drop like that, unless your leaving your regulator open in which case the valve leak would account for that. Your LPR is a bit a low as well, your best bet at this point is to take the gun apart and replace all the orings and give it a good cleaning. Just curious how many shots has your valve gone threw? In fact if your gun has over 100k you should get it cleaned out if you havent already. During regualr use I would clean my mini reg and LPR out after every use, and once a month or twice a month id strip it down, Noid, Ram, valve everything and clean it all out, gives you better performance and air usage

Ok I'm going to strip the LPR internals right now and let you guys know how that works out. I'll check the valve and stem wear aswell and maybe take a trip down to my local Angel place to get a new one.

Ok, I took out the LPR and valve, cleaned them both, changed the o-rings and it made the leak even smaller but it still hasn't stopped. I talked to Chris at Cobra and he thinks I need a new LPR. The other thing is that I have one of thoes mini low pressure gauges and when there is about 650psi going into the gun, that little red meter on the gauge constantly swings back and forth. Does anyone else think I need a new LPR?

A new LPR never hurts

If it leaking from the exhaust valve its most proberbly the valve stem not the lpr, its a pretty common problem.

Its not like you in a rush to get it fixed you can just buy the parts seperatly and see what does the trick, the marker runs fine even with that small leak.

qu. have you shot the marker since you noticed the leak, if you have and it shoots consistantly then its very unlikey that its the LPR, ive been through 1 LPR and before i changed it my consitancy was all over the place

note: leaving your marker gassed up when its unattended is a bad idea

Yeah actually I tested it yesterday at the local field. It shoots great with no drop off even during high rates of fire. (used full auto, semi and dwell was at 15.) Chris at Cobra said it is not the valve because if it was he said it would be leaking a lot more. I think I'll just order a new stem and LPR since they are pretty cheap and also because I have never replaced any of the internals.

Man I must be a freak I think I have had like 3 pairs of internals in my guns since ive had it. The only thing I havent swapped out yet is the ram and noid, and my noid is going in april cause im getting it flyed

why are you changing your noid.
