was there this much hipe when the fly or the speeds came out or is the g7 just special?

there was plenty of hype...it's just that the G7 was previewed so long before it's debut that people have had way more time to gab about it and speculate. The Fly really only "previewed" like the week before Huntington Beach last year, and then WDP released it in HB. The Speed and 4's were the same way, not much leadway. The "previews" of the G7 at the San Diego event this past season have allowed for 4+ months of speculations and talk regarding this new marker.

The Fly and 05 SPEED were both wanted and desired. However the G7 is special because it is anticiptated more than any other gun.

The IR3 had a fair amount of hype when it was released, with the whole 02/02/02. That too had a countdown timer.

Yeah, yeah, I didn't say I was not getting one, merely we have so much stuff posted on the subject of the marker just about it coming out and nothing more.
