just had practice this weekend and my fly is shooting loud, The dwell is it 13 or it will bust paint, we use the xball direct paint. Don't no what the lpr is at i will get my kit soon. I would like to make the gun smoother and faster like my friends joy division is and not so loud and i need it to stop busting paint. please help.

1 - make sure the ram is adjusted properly
2 - you have to check the lpr, it should be set at about 60
3 - set the dwell between 8 and 10
4 - AFTER setting the dwell and LPR, set the velocity to about 285 (or lower depending on local field regulations)
5 - make sure you have a decent paint to barrell match
6 - I dont know how good that paint is, but check to see if the problem of "busting" paint is due to poor quality paint.
7- use a large volumizer
After all of that you should be all set to roll.

paint matches barell. I use a freak
can't lower dwell anymore or it will bust
paint is good works with everyones shockers and timmys.
i have the stock volumizer on it

i would recommend trying to lower the dwell only to 12
with some guns just that single adjustment can make a world of difference

what would getting a board flashed have anything to do with your angel being loud and breaking paint?

As far as I understand the dwell would not causing any kind of paint breaking alone. Lower the dwell, the velocity will also drop, but for now let's just see what happens when you lower the dwell to a value that's more reasonable. When was the last time you stripped everything down and did a good/thorough cleaning and lube?

I did that about 2 weeks ago and have only used it once because it still busted

not sure if the ball breakage problem has been fixed, but i've heard that the halo could be the problem...is the paint breaking inside thre breech b4 you even fire? if so i've heard that the halo stacks might cause to much pressure on the paint causing it to break. I don't know how to fix this problem :notsure:

Go with Furby's suggestion to check, clean, and realign your detents and eyes. Are your eyes working? Did you recheck your LPR after the rebuild? Still no dwell clarification as asked in my last response.

ok well now the settings are
dwell 12
tr 2
lpr 50-55
inline 190-200
Busted 1 by the bolt and some in the barrel. Might be the paint. when i use good paint tomarrow i will no for sure. Any more suggestions please help. I have done everything. its not loud anymore and its smoother but just can't have that busting going on.
Thanks

grease the halo belt, adjust halo sensitivity and buy a jambolt.
