View Full Version : Hey i'm having trouble charging my LED

i think my charger is okay but i dont know
and i charged my gun for like 14 hours and the light keeps blinking
help me if u can

Your charger has two lights. One Red, and one Green. Red means it is Full Charging. When the Green light comes on, it means it is tickle charging so it will not fry your board.

Charge with your gun OFF.

after i unplug the charger to see if the batt is charged..... wen i turn the gun on the green lite comes on like normal but then like 25 seconds later it starts blinking like the batt is going dead.

If the charger seems to be working correctly then here is a possible cause and solution:

Your battery may have what is called "memory".

Take the battery out and put it in the freezer for a couple hours (basically completely kills the charge) and then give it a FULL charge. It is 100% essential to give it that first complete charge.

Memory is from short charging.

if i do that and then i find out that something else is busted is the batt totally hooped?

No.

All you are doing is draining it completely from all charge and then charging it again.

It is possible that your battery is just dead and that you will need to get a new one. I would try what Vantage said and if that still does not work you might want to look into getting a new battery.

i might have found a diff problem a wire on the backplate for the charger plug in wasnt attached
so i just finished souldering
i shall see in the monring if it worked

how much for the battery
and i live in canada so if thats not a prob then maybe
