Slow Fly A4.......HELP

Ok guys I just bought a MT Fly converted A4. I can't get it to go higher than 11 bps. Got any ideas? Heres the stats:

Set on Mode 1 eyes on (I can see them with my camera so I know they're on)
LPR - 65ish
Dwell - 11
TR - 1
MROF - 25 (even though eyes are on and won't matter)
Minireg reads - Little over 200
LP Crossfire tank (450 out I assume)
Med Volumizer
Evo2 (still got the y-Board.... doh)
MT trigger with mag mod

there have been instances where ... well, were not sure what, but it was the gun.

try kicking up your TR (more bounce) even if it's illigal, see if u can get it shooting faster. also try shootin some paint through on the F/A mode, see if you can top it out (15 bps) lastly, try droppin your ROF to like 15-18 and shooting with the eyes off, just to eliminate the hopper.

ince you've done that, i'd say take it to an MT. if u wont be able to for a while, you could also try softening the trigger pull (bending the spring) as i think thats what they did to mine when i had the issue.

..actually, the fact that youy are using an EVO-II with the stock Y-board may be contributing more to the low ROF than any of your settings. When you are in Mode-1 w/eyes on, the board s/w will adapt to the rate your loader can pump paint into the breech...matching it to prevent chopping. I'd suggest you try someones HALO on it (without changing any of your existing settings), and see if the ROF reading goes up.

Another way is to turn the eyes off, let it rip even if it is breaking & chopping paint to see what you can get the ROF up to. This will eliminate the possibility that you have a board problem, just remember that w/eyes off the ROF is capped @ 15bps if I recall correctly.

But, as said earlier, try putting a HALO on it and see what happens...

with an angel tool kit gauge check the lpr recharge rate. if the guage does not snap back instantly to 65-70 or it drops below 40 and returns slowly its more than likely a bad lpr.

My Gauge snaps right back whlie dry firing. It was just serviced by Bob 12000 cycles ago also. I shot it with eyes off and it was ripping but it was also shredding paint. :notsure:

I had an Evo for a short time with my Fly before I got a Halo, and when I did get the Halo it was like a different gun. People may say that they can do more that about 11-12bps but in reality they don't.

Basically, if you want speed, get a Halo and a victory board.

i also forgot to mention, what mode are you on? there are different settings on the board for the hopper (fast, sfast, etc) try a slower one for the eggy. i think "fast" or the one before it should do the trick...

as mentioned, try a halo and get back to us.

Well I tried a Halo today and it didn't get any better. I could turn eyes off and rip away but I was also chopping at 22 bps. I had it set to FAST with the Evo and the Halo with the same results (11 bps). I'm at a loss now...... :notsure:

...with the HALO the hopper setting should be set to "SFAST". Understand that even when using a HALO, with the hopper setting to FAST will incur a software cap on the ROF. The hopper setting basically creates a delay in the firing sequence to prevent chopping. Try the HALO w/SFAST hopper setting and see what happens.

First do all that is mentioned above and then drop the dwell to about 8 mine is at 7 . My rate of fire is now about 20 , but if I raise my dwell above 9 It will
immediatly drop to 12 BPS no matter what else I do.
