Alright, so i have this speed 04 that i bought new last year. I've used it a couple times but with a stock trigger pull and i wasn't firing fast. I reduced my trigger pull to about nothing and im using the rubber band thing. I went to fire it with my evo 2 y-board..and its fine at 1 shot a second..but once i start walking this speed rips like no other. Its going really fast and im getting 3 shots sometimes by pulling the trigger once. The bad thing is im getting chops and my bolt sometimes gets stuck forward. Can anyone tell me how to fix this. I have dwell=12, i've tried mode 1 and 2, mrof 14. I did a sensi test and it works very well. basically i think the gun is outshooting my hopper but i have the mrof at 14 so i don't understand. Can anyone help me?

Is your ram adjusted correct? You should really try it w/ sensi too. Also, up your dwell to about 14, and see what happens.

i've tried mode 1 and 2, mrof 14. I did a sensi test and it works very well. now to me this sounds like ur MROF is at 14 and ur sensi is on?? MROF does absolutly nothing when the sensi is on. if i interpreted this wrong, then just keep your sensi on.

alright, ill try it again at dwell 14. I think my ram is adjusted properly because it click towards the back of the hammer.

ok so put the dwell at 14 with sensi on and went out to shoot it..when i started walking the trigger it shot fine for about 2 seconds then it chopped a ball and the bolt got stuck forward. This is so weird :-\ sensi seems to activate whenever i put a ball in it and the bolt clicks in..i don't get why its chopping..now im going to go try it w/o sensi. ok i took a pic..and it seems im getting roll back and the 2nd ball is getting into the breach. So do i need to adjust my ram forward even though the bolt is clicking to the back of the hammer? http://img177.exs.cx/img177/7105/dscf00235sd.th.jpg (http://img177.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img177&image=dscf00235sd.jpg)

ok..so i was adjusting the ram and it was at close at is could be to the point where i could still open the breech. Should i move the bolt ram forward a lot so i won't have any rollback but i won't be able to open the breech? well i just did that and i could fire 50 shots before i chop..i think im just going to buy a jam enterprises bolt..

i dont know y anyone messes with the ram in the first place. it is in the perfect spot stock. and even if it does shift, a 2 year old with needle noose pliers can fix it

and u may not be chopping. depending on your loader (halo's crush bad paint) and barrel (stock is to small and busts paint) may be the problem.

im using a evo 2, and im definitely chopping because i have chopped balls in my breech.

then your sensi is busted. get a new sensi pad, and your problem is solved. they are like $12

i figured out i have the universal bolt which is a piece of crap..so im getting a new one and that should fix it

your sensi should be fine, if the sensi test passed dont replace it.

after adjusting your ram does the second ball in the stack still protrude that far into the breech?

im not famaliar with eggs so i dont know how much force they put on the stack, but if you back the egg out of the feedneck a little does the second ball in the stack protrude less into the breech?
is the ballstack able to easily shift in the tube with the eggs force on it?

also reducing some of the trigger bounce may help with.

and keep the sensi on. the mrof only works when the sensi is off like PAC said, and you want this maybe one bps slower than your hopper feeds to help prevent chops.

definitely try removing/adjusting the rubber band you have on your leaf spring that's causing so much bounce. the erratic bursts that you're getting make it tough for your egg to keep up. Eggs don't put much pressure on the stack so i wouldn't worry about that too much.

also try using sensi mode 1, that should be safer than mode 2, as it skips a shot if a ball isn't found. if you're going to use your gun with sensi off, i'd put your ROF down to like 12 for a Y-egg...

and i'd definitely reccomend against the JAM bolt. lots of people (myself included) have had problems with them, go with the soft-face bolt, it's great!
