My buddy and I work at a local factory and we know the maintanence manager very well, we asked him if he could get a HPA tank to fill our tanks up for paintball. (we have no fields around and are forced to woodsball) He said he could get us a 6,000 PSI air tank approx the size of the C02 tanks u fill with (about 5 foot tall). He just wants an article or somthing to see how they are set up because he is a bit sceptical about giving us a 6,000 psi tank :drink: go figure. He also wants to make sure we get the right regulators fitting fill station ect ect.... any ideas?

Heres an excellent article with pictures from Doc Nickel (www.docsmachine.com)

Unfortunatly HPA fill stations for the large tanks are alot more expensive then those for the SCUBA tanks. You are looking at 300-500 dollars for the fill station.

As for the operation you can find some with regulators that will only let you fill to a max (adjustable) pressure, and some that are just and on/off valve. When the gauge hits 4.3k (its nice to underfill slightly) you just close the valve.

It helps do to the fact we are rec necks. not any good fields within 4 hours from here... So we play in the woods... I heard a rumor of a gigantic indoor field being built in shutdown factory like 4 miles from my pad though  that would rock.
