easier way to post/view images...

ok. heres something i have thought of for a while and even considered doing a angel board myself, but it seems things have calmed down here so it might be a good place for it.

since everyone likes to post images of thier markers, markers/stuff for sale, wifes/girlfriends, etc. then why not use something to organize and view these a little better?

there are several progs out there, and i think www.photopost.com is one of the ones that integrates with vbulliten and keeps the same user id and passwords for the users to post. you can seperate into groups, like classifieds, sub catagories on that, official picture threads, etc and so on.

just a thought....

i have been looking at this for awhile now, the problem is i just dont have the moeny to do it right now. It would be an excellent addition to the forums.

sounds like a plan. i have searched out photo posting software, etc and came up with some other stuff, but this one seems to be on the top of the list for price and features.

the photopost pro is like 150, and i can come up with a copy if you guys want it installed. from what i can tell, this one is pretty good, unless you guys know of any others out there. the watered down version is like 59, but you cant set user upload limits and some other stuff that might be needed depending on your host.

do you guys have any data transfer limits on the host or anything like that that might come in to play if there got to be a lot of images moving? wheres this site hosted?

The transfer amounts per month might be an issue down the road, as for right now we are doing fine, if we do go w/ the image software i am going to buy a copy of the photopost. It is a very good piece of software and integrates right w/ vbulletin. Thanks for the info ... i will keep you updated on the outcome of the situation.
