My friend you are definitely reading it wrong. It is appox. $1500. The final price will be known when it launches at HB.

As far as the ion, I think you get what you pay for. Cheap price, very cheap material. I believe i've read some ppl complaining that, even with the plastic shell, the gun can get damaged easy. Too much plastic imo = break easy.

Presently WDP had not found a reason to create a cheap marker. They want a high quality marker that no corners have been cut. No bashing any of the inexpensive markers but corners have to be cut to make a profit and still have a low price. Since SP came out with the ION and it looks inside and out remarkably similar to the shockers which either says the shocker is overpriced of they skimped on the quality of the parts contained inside. So it's looking the G-7 will be the best marker WDP has prodced in a long time.

if you reread whatever it was you saw, pre-orders require a $500 non refundable deposit. Te remainder due upon delivery.

Why would a gun better than the 05 speed cost half of the price.$500 is the deposit to hold your place in line for the G7, it is not the price. The rest of the payment is due when you get the G7.

to bad you didnt post this before i just sold one of my a4's for 500 bucks but my last a4 is not for sale
