Well, after drilling out the LPR adjustor's peice that presses aganst the piston, and getting a remarkably noticible increase in not only the LPR recharge rate, but also the LPR stability (with the adjuster cap) i was jumping for joy. i however, did not have paint, or much air at the time.

this weekend, i took the kit out to play. i had been fiddling iwth it for long amounts of time before, spending sums of money on paint aswell if i might say so. i was convinced however, the problem was the LPR. so i figured, i'd arrive, spend 20-30 minuts setting up the volly/valve, and than i'd be finished. complete, etc etc!

not the case. i shot 500+ balls and apent in the area of an hour and a half trying to get her going. i had it set at 50~55LPR, inline, i think was in the area of 200~250, like stated in the evovle manual, but the gauge read like 90 psi at times. i think it was horribly incorrect. my dwell was at 8 (A4 fly) etc etc, thats the necessary stuff.

now, the whole time i was getting FSDO, but it was FSDO like "220 250 248 255" etc, nothing bad, like a 30 fps drop. i could live with this. i had it det with little-no blowback (ball wouldnt leave the feedneck) and it was shooting in the area of 250~280 fps.

i filled my halo, stepped on the field, and just whailed on the trigger. the first 20~30 shots went out great, fast and in line, it was after this hell froze over. i literally had a traffic jam 5 feet infront of my barrel. a spherical cloud 5 feet is diameter of white (paint fill colour) filled the air 3~5 feet infront of me. shootdown, at it's worst.

as i mentioned above, i spent an hour trying to solve this problem, and only this. the shootdown. i tried greasing the hell out of the o-ring at the end of the spem, as i've heard that makes a big difference. i tried shooting, than unscrewing the volly's screw, that adjusts the valve springs strength, a half turn every time. i even tried it shooting 300+ fps, with the valve spring rather soft. absolutly no luck...

only thing i didnt try, was dwell, and i highly doubt thats anything related. kit could be run at 7 dwell, and i was doing 8. one more wouldnt solve a problem as harsh as the one im dealing with

i dont know what to say, or ask for. anyone, help me with new ideas on how to solve the problem. i am selling my kit as we speak, but if my nw parts from evovle (new generation cupseal and some screws) come before it's gone, im going to give it another shot. so please, as much support as there is avalable.

thank you.

I sold my Evolve Kit. I had 15+ HOURS of work trying to get the damn thing to work and to no avail. Screw Evolve.

heh. if only it were that easy. up here in canada, im having a harder time selling than i would have expected.

im going to possibly do some light tinkering over the next few weeks, most likely i will try playing with it stock, but with the evolve adjuster installed to controle LPR pressure, so i can eliminate it as a suspect. than, when the new parts arrive from evolve, really give it a run for it's money.

i'd really like for it to work.
