The manual also has a troubleshooting section for some common problems...and FSDO is in there.

LPR leakage is the common cause, a quick fix to try is taking out the piston and dropping oil into the hole in the stem.
or drop oil in the micro line and cycle it a few times if you don't have the tools to remove the LPR piston.

This will not help entirely. Here is why:
The most common FSDO cause is LPR main seal leakage. As the end of the piston (in which you are putting the oil) is the part that contacts the main seal it is the magic fix.
It doesn't work everytime as there ARE other causes of FSDO, but it works often enough that its worth trying.
And if you try hard enough there are ways to remove the piston without the tool ;)
I agree. I have heard rumor that you can use the screw from the sight rail to remove the piston. I have not tried it, but they seem to be about the same size.

Luv Juice is the best kind of oil you can use on your gun but its pricy and other kinds of oil will work just fine. Just a note before buying my tool kit I used to use a rounded tooth pick to remove my LPR piston. One other thing you need to do is clean out your mini reg...that is also a major cause of FSDO. 3 main things, LPR leaking, Snap Ring, Mini Reg.
