Well, I purchased my new WDP Angel Speed 05, PINK, with laser eyes. Anyway, I need a tank and a hopper. I know the hopper is going to be an Empire Reloader B. The tank is a difficult decision. Here are the choices:

Crossfire: http://sakworldpaintball.com/crsclowprprt.html

WDP: http://sakworldpaintball.com/anairfilowpr.html

I know they are really good brands out there. But how do i decide on a tank? Like frontman, midman, backman? What does each one get? Why?

Can you guys tell me anything about those tanks? What have you heard about them? Which is better?

They are both good and you should be fine with either.

Thanks bro. I think im gonna go with WDP. But someone said it had a PMI regulator witch was a piece of §§§§. So im a bit skeptical at the moment.

get a crossfire. I went to the crono one day. 3 shots, 283 284 283. So great. The gauge is a bit big. I took a sweatband(a wrist one) and put it around the neck of the tank. It keeps paint out of little holes and protects the gauge when i slide

really, wow. When i tried one out on an 05 it made the gun so friggin heavy. Right now i use an 05 with a crossfire 68/45 and it is light as hell . Compared to the crossfire i felt like i was lugging around a bag of bricks

My 70/4500 Crossfire Stubby has a real small Crossfire gauge on it. My older HP Crossfire had a larger gauge on it but my new LP one does not.

Remember, if you get one with a large gauge on it, you can always change the gauge.

some crossfire tank have big ones and some have small ones all of my crossfire have had small gauges

remember you can change your gauge to a small one for only about 15 bucks if you end up with a big one :stooges:

While not being the "in" thing I prefer Ashcroft 1½" pressure gauges. They are more accurate and have larger dials for you to see.

when you get old you need those larger gauges so you can see them lol J/K El

Yeah, you're right. It's especially helpful as I am on a holy quest for the glasses that will not fog in my mask. Thus far that quest has been an utter failure even using a vortex fan. I have a new pair the Army gave me and I am thinking they might be the ones I needed. With a little faith this quest might be over soon.

The cool tanks are 45 4500's those must be light as hell. I can never find one. does any one know how much air they hold

El Pirata
02-26-2005, 01:50 PM
They hold 45 cubic inches of air at 4500 pounds per square inch.

I know that i guess i should have said about how many shots

El Pirata

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Depending on the efficiency of your marker you can get anywhere from 700 - 1000 shots off a tank. It is not too hard to make a marker more efficient and shoot well over 1k shots.

maybachgt
02-26-2005, 01:55 PM
Thats no great. So on my dm5 that would probably be like 600 shots. I'll stick with my 68

El Pirata
02-26-2005, 01:59 PM
Yeah but a front player is not going to shoot more than 1k in a game which is who most often uses a 45/4500.
