Get a stiffi set. It is cheaper then an Ultra-lite and probably just as accurate. Most guys that are dye fans have recently switched to other brands to get a barrel kit instead of just a barrel.

imo the Sw!tch set is the best. Lighter and bought as a set. The ultralights are hella expensive. And the barrels from St!ffi have a life time warrenty.

The only thing I worry about the stiffi is cleaning it becuase i heard you can like scratch the porting if you use a reguler cloth. Other wise i still don't no which one is better in the accuracy department.

get an ultralite back and stiffi front...hehe that way if you hate the stiffi you can get a DYE front. ORRRR freak back (cheaper) that way there are always room for upgrades.

I like the Lucky 15, but the stiffi is a great kit too.

I recently picked up a Scepter barrel kit from Powerlyte for the Angel. This thing is deadly accurate and quiets down the 05 considerably. I also own a Stiff in .689 but I was finding too much inconsistency in the paint I was using for it to be optimum. However, with decent paint the stiffi barrel is just as accurate as the scepter kit. Also the powerlyte offers a money back guarantee on the kit with no questions asked. After using the freak kit I have to agree this scepter kit is much stronger. The inserts lock in from the front and they self align to center once the front barrel is mounted. No more problems of pulling the inserts out of the tip with my squeegee like with the freak. If you look on the inside after attaching the tip you cannot even identify a seam, I swear it looks like a one piece barrel and shoots just as well if not better than most. The honing is simply amazing, Dye cannot touch the mirror finish of the scepter. For 159.00 from Powerlyte I got the 7 bore kit, an angel back and colored 14" tip. They also include a sturdy carrying case with extra compartments for tools, lubes, etc... Check them out. I have not taken my stiffi out of the tube since I picked this kit up.

I love my ultra light. I have heard great things about stiffis too. I think they are equally accurate. The ultralight is heavier but the stiffi can't be cleaned with barrel swabs
