Ok, I've been thinking about getting one of these 2 for a while. I was going to get an evolve kit but I heard of all the people having problems and stuff. So before I buy any of them I want to know what do you guys think is best or what pros and cons do each have? I don't know anyone with either of them so I haven't gotten to see either of them in action.

I heard the evolve kit can let you shoot 2000 balls out of 68/4500 tank. Can the cobra valve and bolt do the same? Also do they both reduce the kick and both of them can equally lower the pressure? Or can one lower the operating pressure lower than the other?

Btw, I put it in the 5peed forum cuz that's what I'll be putting them into and I don't want a biased opinion if I post it in the evolve forum.

Thanks in advance.

i use the cobra bolt and lpr and i realy like it but it cant get 2000 shot out of a 68/4500 but it is realy eficient and i thing the gun might have got even a bit faster (maybe not sure maybe my fingers got faster) cause of the bolt but the cobra bolt and lpr is alot cheaper

and i know El and trigga use the evolve kit so lets ask them is they can get 2000 shot out of a 68/4500 YO EL TRIGGA CAN YOU GET 2000 SHOTS OUT OF YOUR EVOLVE KIT AND HOW DO YA LIKE EM

Yeah the cobra valve and bolt are looking the way I'm going to be going if it's not all that different. Plus, I don't wanna have to wait for the evolve kit to come all the way from England, I live in Hawaii and getting stuff from the mainland is long enough.

Right now I have the Evolve kit removed from my 05 because I'm waiting for the new cup seal to arrive. So I have not done any formally testing on efficiency yet.

I have no doubt that the Newton Valve will increase the shots per tank.

Here is how it does it. If you shot the Angel with your loader removed and have only 2 or 3 balls in the feedneck, watch what happens to the balls not in the breech when you pull the trigger. What happens? They go flying right up and out of the feedneck, sometime 2-3 feet right up in the air. What causes that? Wasted air. With the Newton Valve you can adjust the valve spring tension to where you use only the amount of air needed to fire the ball in the breech. It really is something to witness. When you have the valve tuned, the is close to zero blow back and the balls will not come flying out of the stack. So in theory it saves on air AND makes it easier on your paint. Imagine a feedneck with a loader on it will all those balls ready to fire. Without an Evolve Kit, I imagine that there can be some pressure from the blow back air on the balls. It could be harsh for the paint. Of course every set-up and Angel is slightly different.

We just need those new cup seals from Evolve and we'll be flying....

Hmmmmm.....When the new cup seal gets here, I'll take a video of the tuning process so you all can see what I'l talking about. I'll post it in the Evolve Forum on AOG.

as for now, i will the cobra stuff will be at my house thursday, and i will see how that works on the gun...after the bugs get worked out on the evolve kit, i will get it and see which i like better...

I am toying with the idea of having DEZ make a seal for me out of something he has laying around in his shop and will probably hit him up for one as soon as I get the time to stop by hs place one weekend.

My first experience with the evolve was not as pleasant as I dould have liked however, using a little reasoning I have more or less figured where I went wrong in the installation and what I need to do to remedy it. Even though, I still was able to get over 1500 shots out of about 4k psi with some still left over. I always forget to run a tank empty just to check exactly how many shots I can get from a single fill.

Ok, how does this sound for a setup I have in mind. DEZign open face bolt, new evolve newton kit, aka 2 liter? OR ...DEZign open face bolt, cobra valve, aka 2 liter? Which one do you guys think would give me the more effciency and less kick? I'm thinking the evolve kit is better than cobra valve right?

it all depends on how much money you want to spend

I would just keep it stock cause the gun is so great

I'm willing to spend whatever it takes to perfect my Angel (it's awesome stock, I'm not implying it isn't ...I just like to see how much more these ups can improve my angel, or if they do anything at all) and to see just what a gun completely done up feels like compared to a stock one.

Well that's not 100% true. It would have features I liked from a few different valves and some stuff I have always wanted to try.

Yeah but if you get a valve made doesn't that mean you can't use the evolve kit?

This is true. I have an idea or two that might be incorperated into the evolve system just using another valve stemnwith everything else evolve.

Damn man. Well, if you get it working and it's better than the regular evolve, let me know. I'd be intrested in one lol
