I just order a JAMbolt the same night i used it... i had have been having chop problems with my soft-face even with sense on... i tried this and railed a whole evo w/z board AND DIDN'T CHOP A BALL.... So anyway now that mine is coming in I was wondering if i should oil before i break it in(1000 dry fires as instruted by maker) and will love juice work or do i did something else??? :notsure:

the instructions say to oil it? that doesnt sound right to me.
unless it says to oil it for break-in in the instructions dont oil it.

as for chopping with the soft-face, did you make sure the ram was set correctly?

good luck with the Jam Bolt. It worked terribly when i used one in my speed, as did a friend of mine in his speed, but some few have had success.

Chris,

Not meaning to rekindle and old thread, but do you know if the jam bolt you guys were using was the older LCD bolt or the newer RAS bolt? Thanks.

no oil needed.
just wipe it off with a paper towel now and then.
