I have a 2003 Ir3 fLY and I just ordered a stock Empire B. Most threads talk about the HALO B

Can someone give me some feedback in regards to chopping problems. I have the A4 bolt and a new detent. What can I expect and if its bad what can I do to fix it. My egg with Z board has become too slow.

empires are fast as hell but they do stress the paint hard and crush paint in the loader from time to time

well iam not going to try and convince you to buy a halo because you have already made your decision. i have heard good and bad things about reloaders, but since your detents seem to be good you hopefully wont break paint.

Well I did have problems when I got it. The new stock detent didnt hold back crap...lol....I bought a ST adjustable detent and stiffened it up quite a bit. Shoots ropes with no problems whatsoever. But if I turn it to the fastest setting I get double feed. Im sure I could get a stiffer detent spring but I dont think I need the third setting this hopper rips unbelievably fast. I havent had any skip due to a slow feed yet and I have gotten up to 18 bps at the crono.

SOOOO glad I got it ....cured all my problems.

3000 rounds shot this saturday and no breaks
