I just got homefrom p8ntballin and with cops off my gun rips but wen its on,i pull the trigger as fast as i did with cops off and it shoots the first shot then, say another 5 pulls of the trigger seem like they dont even register.

thats what i did on my IR3. to be honest, COPS is crap.

I would suggest that you take the time to learn to set up your COPS. Are you running COPS or COPS2? There is a difference, and it certainly helps to know which one you have. I would take the time to go into the settings of COPS and make sure it's set up properly. As well as taking a few minutes to ensure that you have an intact sensor and rod.

Agreed. I had an IR3 that shot fine for about 2 months, Then Chopped like hell for 6-8 months. I was too lazy to learn anything about it at first and I didn't have the money to send it out. Then after about another month of trying to sell it, I finally gave up and decided to learn how to adjust it. So I downloaded the IR3 manual and adjusted everything according to the book from page 1 to the end. After all that was taken care of I searched the forums and asked around for help regarding the proper setup of my Ram and VIOLA my IR3 w/ A4 board now rips better than ever. The Moral Of the Story? If you're gonna own an ANGEL, Learn how to care for it. PLEASE!!!!!

Cobb you neglected to mention wether this was with paint or dry firing. If it is dry firing it sounds like it's working just fine as the whole point of cops is to NOT fire if there is NO ball. COPS allows yo to fire once every second or whatever depending on what level you have it set for so it could definitly be doing what you are describing. If you are shooting 10 BPS in the second or whatever then it will only allow one pull to register as it senses NO paint. Start with a drop test and go from there.

Go to www.WDP.tv there you will select the size of the macromedia flash website. once you do that there is an orange bar at the top that lets you select several areas of the website. Select the one that says Tech Area and another little menu pops up underneath it. Look to the right and you will see something that says Manuals. You must select the one that say's IR3. It's between SPEED AND LCD. Good luck.

the same thing happend to me. but i later found out that my cops sensor was busted. i highly suggest getting a mt fly conversion. this will enable you to shoot up to 31bps!
