Ok now that i know why the grip won't come off because their is a screw behind the minireg that I have to take off. My NEW problem is that the minireg doesn't slide out and seems to be stuck in my grip. I took the velocity screw, and the screw in the front of the grip out but it doesn't budge even when I shake it, it doesn't move any. What am I doing wrong?

You can either use a pair of needle nosed pliars and put them into the two holes in the bottom of the reg and pull or use one of the grip frame screws and thread it into one of the holes in the minireg and pull that.

Hope this helps.....

To quote the manual:

"Invert the mini-regulator spool and tap it firmly onto a smooth surface to shock the internals out of the mini-regulator body."

I watched an angel tech do it to my angel the other day. It was a pretty FIRM tap!

yeah, I just ended up ripping the thing out with a blunted fish hook. I got cp adapter and 2 liter on now, now I just need a freaking macroline and fitting and I'll be good to go.

Silly kids.

The two holes that are in the bottom of the mini reg are the same size as the threads on your breach rod.

Pull your breach rod out and thread it into the bottom of one of the holes and simply it out.

Sheesh

Tal,

Is the threaded rod for the breach the same as the M3 screw that WDP indicates as needed for the LPR removal? If so then that would alleviate needing the angel tool kit for LPR removal to adjust shims.

No, the LPR threads are smaller.
Well, I haven't tried it yet but I asked Angel how to get the darned thing out and that's exactly what Frasier told me to do. Use the breech pin and thread it into the mini-reg and pull it out. He said that's what they do...

I tried using the lpr removal tool to remove the mini reg and it was too small. The breech pin does fit to pull out the mini reg.

You didn't believe me so you just had to try it. It's ok, I didn't believe the breech knob would fit it and I had to try that one too.
