Mine works great. Set it up right the first time and don't tinker with it too much.

if u do that it wont break... all the people i know that have had it break is because they messed with it
so what do i need to get started besides the kit itself

Correct sharp, If you get it working its wonderfull but when it lets you down mid game:( its time for the can....... I also have read alot on the improvement to the valve stem o-ring(if its truly a fix I would not mind trying the kit again) Till then I'm not putting it back in my gun!

The only thing in my gun from the kit, is the hammer.
I put on a lighter spring that i am going to experiment with to get the low dwell and LPR's that I want, I may use the LPR adjuster again if it doesnt give me FSDO or drop off like it has been,.

i love my kit, it's operating at 40 psi, the kick is non existant, and even those at my store that hate angels have fallen in love with my generic looking fly ;)

i heard a rumor that the valve pins broke at around 8000 shots, is that true? i hope it isnt because i REALLY want to try this on my angel that has given me non-stop performance for 10,000 shots and its previous owner for 80,000 shots (both totals with paint) as for clicks on ht noid, around 300,000.
i want this for looks and easy adjusted and fine-tuned lpr and for the low dwells. i want this thing to just plain out make my gun rip anything else apart (including the angel haters)

it makes the gun shoot way faster right?

What do you mean by shoot faster? ROF? Velocity? Neither of those necessarily apply for the evolve kit. More eficient and an adjustable LPR externally are the milestones to the evolve kit.
also alot less kick and it chops alot less, also ive heard it makes it quiet

if you get it, be prepared to be patient. i've put probably $100 and tens of hours into trying to get it working, and thats ontop of the original price and shipping times. no luck. so i said §§§§it, put the stock stuff in, and let my angel rip like it was built from the ground up to do.
the kit does work, i was running dwell of 8 @ 50psi LPR pressure and it increased my ROF from avg 21 bps to 25/26, thats an increase without touching my trigger adjustments or my TR settings. so what pushed me over the edge? the fact that when i hit 27 bps, i would literally have a traffic jam 5 feet infront of my barrel. nice big cloud of paint as the shootdown made everyball slam into the one before it. worst part was, i didnt have a drop of paint in my breech or barrel, so i knew it was the evolve kit.

I love mine and have nothing bad to say about it!!!
sometimes the balls just collide at really high bps its around 28-30 and thats on stock pars not with the evolve

Popular rumor from Hunt Beach is that the evolve is no more. They couldn't fix the o-ring problem so they are scraping the project. Anyone else hear this? I went to Huntington to purchase an evolve and no luck. Same story as above. Just wondering what ya'll know.

the oring problem has been fixed with the new valve stems, Evolve are still going strong as far as i know. The best person to ask would be Martin, Peegee or Gordon

I am getting a slight leak from the little "o" rings around the LPR adjuster the leaks seem to come and go without reason. I think they may be the reason for FSDO, at least in my case. Without the LPR adjuster, the Fly runs real good, I have also seen the "traffic Jam" infront of the barrel,, pretty cool. My advice to those who get that a lot,,, SLOW DOWN,, do you really need 25 30 BPS? Can you do that while "snapping",, can you do that while someone else is shooting back? I am going to run this Evolve into the ground and really test the thing out.
clown dog maybe u should remove the adjuster and lube upthe orings that seems to be a problem with alot of people, and no, not a single person needs to go 25-30 bps but you gotta love it when you turn heads at an event or an you local field
