what is the best reg for the evolve kit, best recharge rate :clown:

The only Regs I would change to from the Mini-Reg, would be either the AKALMP Sidewinder or MacDev Gladiator.

If you opt for a gas through then a max flow tank/reg is a good choice however the max flow inline erg is a good choice too.

I'm real happy with my Sidewider (got the short one, it's not much longer than the stock mini-reg). I accidently over-pressured my mini-reg and the consistancy went to crap.

It's the best upgrade I ever bought. Looks good on my Fly too!

id have to agree with him...exept for the snap part

if you look at the graph that this one guy did on recharge rate you can definatily see that it has the best recharge...

tho the mini-reg is last on the page it is incorrect since the recomended input for the mini-reg is 400 psi and they input 800 psi into it

Running a Conquest-Gladiator combination on my Ir3 I achieved +/-2 fps. Although this was the spread....there were many shots over the chrono which had no variation or were less than +/- 1fps.

I am trying to run this very same combination on my 5peed but until recently the minireg was not replaceable (the ASA & Glad is in the mail).

I have seen a Palmer Stabilizer-MaxFlo combination which had a +/- 1fps spread. It was extremely impressive.

Wish I had the money to experiment witht the AKALMP 2 liter, but I rather go with what I have already tested.

Ive ran sidewinders on every gun ive owned except this fly, and they have always out-preformed the stock reg. I may get a 2-liter later on, but the mini is working fine so Ill keep it for now.

I'm considering switching to a short Sidewinder or a 2liter... the minreg is pretty inconsistent.

On the other hand, it has the advantage of being free...

I'm going to be setting up a 2 liter on my 5peed soon, all i'm waiting for is the 2 liter to come in and I'll be ready to rock. should be coming in this week.
