Troubleshooting steps... FPS inconsistency

If I have problems getting my A4 to fire at the same fps (varies by more than 20 sometimes), what steps should I go through to isolate the issue?

Example:
Step 1: Check the xyz for leaks
Step 2: Oil part abc
Step 3: Check for little green gremlins inside the barrel
etc... etc...

Use better paint. Match barrel to paint. Clean/oil your reg.

I started combing through the manual some more and found a section on this in the Appendix "Velocity Variations"... paint is the first culprit but I'm using Chronic which I hear is a pretty good match w/ the A4s. I serviced my tank Reg (which had a minor leak before which is now gone after the service).

The manual says to check the mini-reg, the bolt, the LPR, dwell and then the RAM....

Basically, tear your Angel apart piece by piece and sevice everything but the trigger till you fix it. ;) :bigok:
