i was wondering if there was anyway of switching my leaf spring on my 04 speed with my fly with out damage to eitehr boards..
the reason for this is because the spring in my speed more lose then the one in my fly and yes, i have bent the the spring in my fly and have done the rubberband mod..

i dont think it's possible, i was (or someone was, i really cant remember) asking if it's possible to remove the spring, and use a trigger imilar to the 05 speed's method, where rather than the leaf, the actual trigger breaks the beam to activate the firing sequence. i think they said one of the MT's does it, but otherwise, hacking and chopping is the only way to remove the leaf.

not sure about the fly, but to take the leaf outta the speed i just pulled the board apart at the top and pulled the leaf out. you gotta void the warranty to do it though. good luck either way.

if you dont mind voiding ur warranty i dont see why not. as far as I know there is no diff. in the leaf springs.

in my speed the leaf spring is really loose but in my fly it is heavy, and i can hit a higher rof with my speed..which kinda sucks, cause i spent 1300 on a gun that is slower then my 600 dollar gun
