O-ring mod for cops sensor

I got a quick question. I've heard somewhere that u can do some sort of an o-ring mod to the cops sensor to make it more sensitive. Is this mod worth it? If it is then how can i do this mod. Please any info would b great

I don't see how or where you would install an Oring to affect the sensitivity of the COPS system. In my earlier reply I thought i had an Idea of how it would work but found I was wrong to a certain extent.

putting an oring underneath the cops rod will limit the up and down travel of the cops rod and will most likely result in ball breakage. While in theory it may result in the cops sensing the ball sooner, It is not considerd a practical solution. But that may depend on the size of the oring and wether there is enough play to prevent ball breakage due to the rod sticking out too much.
