My A4 is shooting as good as my tippmann...why?

hey guys, I got my gun about 2 weeks ago, i shot it up close and it seemed really accurate. Today i went to go play with it but i shot it from more of a distance and my balls were just diving and rising ...no sense of accuracy. my setup is stock a4 with 68/4500 nitro duck, dye ultalite barrel, and a halo b. Does anyone no why it is so inaccurate. the gauge wont go anylower than the 3(halfway between red and green) after i adjust the velocity. It aggrivates me because i thought buying an angel would soulve my gun problems and it was just as inaccurate/consistant.....HELP!!!! Please!!!!!!

ur using high pressure air. u need to do the mini-reg mod so u can get a lower pressure. if u lower the pressure after u do the mini-reg mod, it will be much more accurate.

im pretty sure its not a high pressure tank i bought everything used it only had like 700 cycles on it when i bought it and it never said what it was but lets say its not . do i need to buy a tool kit and mess aroundd with the shims.... and if it is can i just buy a regulator and use that? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7126967394&fromMakeTrack=true

yea, its most def high pressure if your gauge is reading that, best case senario would to be get a low pressure tank like the angel air preset, see if u can trade with anyone

FROM KEN CRANE: (for high pressure tanks )
1) remove all pressure to the gun.
2) remove the mini reg from the gun by unscrewing it counter clockwise
3) look into the top of the mini reg and locate the circle 'c clip'
4) with a circlip pliers remove the circlip
5)carefuly turn the mini reg over and tap it on a padded surface
6) you will note that there are cuped washers stacked on top of each other they look like this: ((()))((())) (not in this order)
7)remove 1 of the cuped washers (springs) from the mini reg stack
8) reassemble in reverse order and re chrony

hey yeah i got it to work better what i did was just change the volumizer and what i realized was that when you adjust the velocity the gauge pressure only goes up and it wont go backwards even when io screw the velocity screw all the way in. still not precisely accurate its more accurate when i shoot faster( i was using diablo nightmare soo...) boresize .688 whats paint you suggest and any upgrades? to and the previous owner said its a low pressure tank

the gauge will only go down after u shoot (4 shots according to the manual, i sugest u read that thing, it sounds like u havent)

u dont needa tool kit to get things out of the gun really. i just use a small allen to get the lpr out.

and i REALLY think u have HP air because u said it wont go any lower. with my lp tank, i can get the gun to shoot less than 200fps. what was ur velocity and exactly how low would the guage go?

no i wanna get the tool kit so i can mess with my lpr pressuyre and i know its not a low tank but i dont know my chrono but the reason i couldnt get the gauge to show under 300 was because i didnt fire the 4 shots after the adjustment...so when i would adjust it up the gauge would go up but down no because no shots were fired. You know what im saying?
