I actually closed it because I wanted to make it fair to everyone.

The rules clearly state that there will be NO fake threads, and if you start one you will be banned. A user started a fake thread, and as such was banned. I closed the thread long enough to go through the thread and make sure that he hadn't posted, and if he had I would've deleted them. I felt this was fair to the honest members of the site who chose not to violate the rules laid forth in the sticky.

We set out a basic set of rules, they aren't complicated, and really don't require a lot of explanation. We simply ask that you read the rules and abide by them. The contests are here for the fun and enjoyment of the members of AOG. When one person does something that goes against that it hurts the community as a whole. As you'll notice punishment was swift, and was in keeping with the rules laid out.

In the future I may add a rule that says you have to actually post something other than just gibberish. As it is right now most people are just mashing their keyboards and hitting submit. I like reading some of the things you guys type out when you're trying to get the magic post, and since I can't really participate it's my own side of the fun. You guys should read some of the threads and see what some people actually say when they really type something out, some of it's funny.

i tryed to actualy respond to other peoples posts that they made when i wasnt the last one to post b4 the new screen poped up

but i also did some jyberish when i was trying to go quick and get it right at 15 sec

it would kinda b hard to moderate if each person was typing gyberish cause a mod would have go though (if he/she wanted) and delete each post

and also somehow i beat the post filter... i actualy did a double post but they wernt next to eachother...it was one behind the jersy and three ahead of the 1000 post

i was thinking it was because of the tremendious amount of traffic that is everybody trying to post at the same time the server just got overloaded and couldnt handle the double post thingy as well as getting the posts up there
