View Full Version : ir3 manual? settings? unlockable modes?
is there anywhere where I can get an ir3 manual? or at least just how to change all the settings? I assume the board in the regular ir3s is exactly the same as the one in my dark ir3. doesn't the ir3 have unlockable firing modes? if so, how to do it? thanks.

You can get the manaul on WDP.tv. The modes on the iR3 are locked and there is no way to get them unlocked right now. My palm pilot has a screen to unlock them but for some reason it doesn't work when I send it to the gun.
there must be a way to unlock them...I saw people selling ir3s over a year ago saying, "all firing modes are unlocked"
you sig says, "mem 6 ir3 board"...that's what mine is, are there different ir3 boards? idk

Yeah there are mem2-6 boards (6 being the newest.) Trust me, I have been trying for well over a year to unlock the iR3 and eventhough there is a screen on my palm that allows the enhanced modes to be unlocked, it doesn't work when I send it to the gun.

IR3's from other countries, where the modes are allowed, are the ones that you usually see for sale after the make their way to North America as far as I have ever read unless the person hacked the board themselves.

Actually I think no matter where you buy an iR3 it is locked. It's when you live in a country like Sweden I think that WDP will allow you to send them your board and they will unlock it. That prevents people from buying them in an unlocked region and reselling them to other countries.

Just a thought, does anyone have any suggestions on why my iR3 palm software doesn't seem to be working with my iR3? The MEM6 patch will transmit to the iR3 so I know my palm is compatible but when I go to the main iR3 software, I check the box next to the option that should unlock the board and press send but it does nothing...
why did WDP lock all firing modes except semi on the ir3 boards but not on the 2002 LCD boards? I had a 2002 lcd at one time and it came with all firing modes available (semi, zip, ramp, auto, and programmable modes)...what made them change their standards for the ir3 and lock all firing modes except one?

Thier excuse was to comply with ASTM or some BS like that.

This is such a null subject. IR3's are not unlocked and will never be unlocked regardless of what "patch" apply or "Palm Software" you use. There are Unlocked IR3's but only because whatever company was selling them at the time got it like that. I believe but not sure COBRA Mamba's were unlocked and Warpred Sportz but don't qoute me on that cause I could be wrong. This post will most likely be LOCKED sooner or later seeing as there is already a thread on unlocking.

Warped Sportz guns obviously are not, because the ir3 I was referring to was a warped sportz dark ir3...oh well, doesn't matter anymore anyway cause I sold it, missing her already
