Whats up fellas.

I was going to get the metal shocktech parts for my halo B since they have chronic plastic part breakage problems. A guy I play with told me when he did that it really slowed down his halo. Anyone else have experience with this stuff?

If its a slowdown like 19 BPS as opposed to 22, I could care less. But if its going to be running at like 8 BPS I would like to know in advance. Any feedback from someone running this stuff would be nice.

Thanks.

PS. Unrelated note - Did anyone notice the Aftermarket WAS/ACE thread just disappeared the other day? Or am I just not looking in the right place anymore?

yes it has disappeared...... and on 68caliber.com there are now 2 better plastic cones on teh market, they use metal studs in them and are thicker

Thanks for the links.

Gonna grab one of those instead just based on warranty and weight.

..SAnchez Machine makes replacement cones as well...if I recall correctly, BoB @ FMA carries (carried) them on his page....or maybe it was Ken @ Peformance :again:

the shocktech works fine in my halo. plus it weighs like an ounce more then the delrin ones...weight isnt really a problem.
