View Full Version : Most reliable loader poll
It seems that some people have no problems with Halos on their Angles, others (like myself) have had nothing but problems. The strange thing is that you can take one Halo and it will work fine, another and you got a blender. The purpose of this poll is to help answer the number one question, "which loader or board should I use?".
And yes reliability includes not breaking paint. :bigok:

My vote is evo2 with zboard as I have never had a problem on my fly with it.

My experience with my Halo B w/v35 has been mixed.......It worked great for months, then one day became a blender. No matter what speed it was adjusted to. After some "playing" with the marker adjustments and hopper settings it is much better. But, my back-up Egg w/z-code has always worked flawlessly.

z-egg all the way for reliablility. Mines never broken while my buddies Reloader B has needed $70 of repairs and still makes his speed demon chop.

You need to create a "jam" sequence. In other words let the cone spin, stop it with your fingers. If it pulses three times, you have Z software.

i have never had a problem with my reloader b, but i do i will deffinately move to a Z boarded Egg, which when i get enought money i will get one as a back up

Turn on the hopper and hold the cone down with your hand while it is spinning. If it cone makes a sound that pulses you have the z-code, if it just humms and stays at a steady noise you have the older code. The z-code pulses three times to clear jams then goes into a failsafe mode to save the motor. The older code just keeps it spinning until you turn until you manually turn it off or clear the Jam. :bouncer:

The evo is the biggest piece of crap ever. Either the lid breaks off, or the battery door breaks off. Why O why is it rated the best in this poll? I have no idea, someone please help me with this one.

The shell may suck butt, but its cheap to replace. Ive never had a problem, other then my battery door, but nothing a little tape wont fix.

I can say there are more threads saying something is wrong with a reloader or a halo than there are saying something is wrong with an egg. Just a thought.

all i know is eggs break way to easily. yeah they work great but the breaking prob is what killed it for me.so i go with halo B

VL has adressed this problem and made improvments to the egg shell, feed neck, batt door and lid and ive not broken any of these parts since getting one of the new evo2's :drink:

eggs are the best for angels. my halo my friends halo and my causins halo suck S#@t my causin his fly eye's get paint on them because halos are blenders everyody i know who as a halo says it sucks. the egg 2 rarely brakes use mine instead of my halo now :emmit: :eggs forever:

it's light and seems to keep up with my single tigger finger fine. only matters that i shoot my fair share of people. not plan'n on fix'n what isn't broken

I never have trouble with my egg z board... it's pretty much permanently on my fly now, until someone makes a real fix for the halo paint crushing issue...

Even though I have found the Halo be the least reliable, I still maintain a Halo decal above my Angel decal ;)

eggs kick a**. Halo Bs are the biggest rip off around. They do rip IF theyre not blending the paint. All my friends that have them hate them.

in terms of speed... reloader b and v35 halos lead the race..in terms of having problems via breaking of the actual loader or breaking paint in the loader the eggs seem to be better, if youve seen the new eggs come wit super re-enforced shells so no more snapping lids of breaking feednecks. in a realistic point of view though if i want speed and reliability i think the reloader b is a nice mix of speed/reliability. if you put it on the first setting, its already faster then a halo b and does not have enough torque to blend paint, just my two cents after owning almost all loader (with the exception of the angry halo)

never had a problem with a halo been using them since i had a 2k2 lcd adn no problems i dunno but eggs are to slow and i get a lot of skipped shots and halos are better balanced i love mine and won't b gettin rid of it netime soon
and has neone seen an I-Halo i mean u can't beat that

i have had my egg awhile and well its slow for me it does around 20bps pushin 21bps i timed it and every thing. Just incase u think i am aint telling the truth if you take 150 balls time that and see how fast you can get your loader empty it devide the second by 150. Well anyway i want a halo cause they are faster and more force feed than eggs and i am to lazzy to replace my broken sensi so just buy a loader faster than my fingers and walla i am rollin.

Feeding into a bag is not the same as feeding into a marker. While I am a big fan of the egg the best I can get is 19bps with the egg out of my G-7.

ive used my reloader b on my speed for almost a year now, playing every weekend and im pretty sure ive only chopped 1 ball and 1 barrel break because it was blaze

I dunno, but seems faster than my Z board when I had it... well it's basically as fast, but doesn't have the "Go Faster" part like the Z board does...just straight off full throttle :D tis really good, and keeps up with my 15Bps ramping...

I'm not certain here but I would think if they were upgrading the y board they might want to use a different name like a board so that it causes less confusion. Also as an added bonus with that they will get tons of sales with the new a board version 6.1. I know with the stock y-board I could barely get 15 bps however with the y board I get 19bps without any problem.
