Hey guys,

Just for you, a few questiosn for thosse of you that havee the kit. I received minee in the mail today, but after opening it saw a few problems.

When looking a both pieces that had been anodized "dust black" I noticed that they both have a "purple" tint to them instead of black... Also, they both are REALLY sticky. To the point that when I touch them my fingerprint are very defined on the pieces and anodization. Even stick enough to the fact that when I hold my hand at a 25 degree angle and let the pieces roll "off my hand", they stay put... Thoughts?

The neext one is a ltitle bit weird, but it lookslike certain areas where the anodizing did not work, it appears to have been gone over in black pen (?). Is this normal to any of you...?

I understand they were waiting for their items to get back from being annodized, but come on...

The Evolve "dust black" is not quite black but just like what you are describing. My parts are not sticky though.

The sticky problem is quite weird. Maybe something was missed in the anodizign process. But as for the off "purple" color you are describing, that is normal. Its hard to get an exact annodized color match without doing the entire gun. BUT, for that much money I would have expected a closer match myself.

I recieved a response.

I have to say that Gordon and his boys are some of the most professional buisness men out there. Wthout question he already hass new parts in the mail.

He, of course, requested the old parts back to show the anodizers what type of horrid job they did, etc..

I am very pleased.

That is all.

-JasonCool beans. If you have not already taken pics of the ano job you ought to. However if you have already sent them then well, you know the drill.
