Ok in English i have to do this I-Search paper so guess what i picked, exactly. So i had to come up with 5 questions and i figured with all the geniuses and MT's on here i could get them answered. So off we go
1. What is ramping and bouncing?
2. Why is the legal speed capped at 300 f.p.s?
3. Why is ramping/bouncing/full auto illegal?
4. Should maker speed s be capped below 30 b.p.s?
5. Why are nitrogen tanks so expensive?
any and all answers will be greatly appreciated

1. These modes (except for ramping in the NXL) are illegal because it takes away from the skill needed to play the game.
2. This is because over that limit you can cause serious damage to someone's body
3. There used to be 10 man format, but I think for the sake of game speed they cut it to 7 man
4. I dont think so, this is becaue no one can even physically shoot that fast.
5. They are so expensive because they need to be very well built to hold the extreme pressures inside the tank, and also to have a regulator good enough to lower these pressures to a more managable pressure.
I hope my info was helpful/accurate

For the first point, I would say more saftey/insurance reasons than "skill".
Id rather be hit by two paintballs going 305FPS, than 25 going 280FPS.

Hey, I'm a scitzophrenic and so am I.
1. Because. Not good enough of an answer. For safety. Too vague. Ramping especially like turbo modes where you pull the trigger twice fast and the marker fires 5 times without any more user input and it being impossible to stop is a good enough reason for me to not allow turbo.
2. Do you have any idea what a welt from a ball traveling 700fps looks like? First off the hit freaking hurt like there's no tomorrow and second the welt was there for weeks. The speed is also set at 300 fps today because that's what has been agreed upon as a standard for making things like goggles minimumly safe.
3. I often ask what happened to the 15 man teams. Then again they are 15 person teams, politically correct.
4. Yes, absolutely. How long does it take for a person to react? One second? So someone gets hit and it took them a second to realize they are hit then call out and it takes the shooter a second to react to the fact the said hit so they can stop shooting. So 2 seconds have passed since the person called themselves out and 60 balls are on their way to the dead person.
5. Because of the pressure. There is a balance of lightweight and strength playing a factor here. The prices really are not that expensive considering. Lood at your marker, it's only 1/5th of theprice of a marker to but a preset tank. Not too much of a price to pay.

ok, i agreeYa know if you use those things on either side of your nose instead of spouting off at the mouth before you use them you might see that the kid has to interview 5 people.

Also i believe in some places any projectile weapon that can shoot over 450 fps is considered a firearm... i remember hearing this a while ago... maybe someone canelaborate or expand on
