Hey, I remember reading a thread around here about 3 months ago about how fireball mountain cheated some guy out. I think it was an Angel LED and they kept it for over 6 months and it was a pretty big issue.

Anyways, i'm thinking of sending my gun in to get laser-engravings and I was wondering if this is true? Can I trust these people?

ive heard better things about FBM on lazer engraving than ano... this girl called 'TheAngelLady' sent her speed to them and it came out looking mediocore. but ive heard much better things w/ lazer engraving cause its all computerized, and custom ano is all done by hand

hope this helps

I don't think it was Fire Mountain, it was Fear Factory Paintball. They no longer have a website. Here is the thread which is now closed: http://angel-owners.com/showthread.php?t=32189&highlight=fear+factory

There was a member here that use to post a lot from Fear Factory, Mamba Juice. He seemed like a nice kid. Perhaps he could further explain the foul up with that LED. Thog is correct, it was Fear Factory.

My experience with anodizing has lead me to trust two places:

PK Selective
MAX Anodizing

I've yet to try FBM, ironic too considering I live 45 minutes from their shop. With any anodized it's important to have the marker stripped down properly before hand and ensure someone who knows the marker well re-assembles it. That way you can tell if the anodizing process possibly damaged your marker.

I've personally seen two anodizing jobs that melted away the trigger frame screws on another marker (not an Angel).

FBM is good....Fear Factory is terrbile I am still waiting for my cash and some parts.... yeah mamba Juice used to work there, but has quit. So stay away from fear factory and use FBM or MAX or Dirtproducts for anodizing and stuff...

I have no experience with fbm, but the one thing I hear all the time from people that send stuff in is that they don't get all their parts back. A small piece or two will be overlooked when it's shipped out, I'm guessing. So just send only what you want ano'd, maybe make an inventory list so they can check it. Their work does look great in all the pictures I've seen.
