while taking a look at the badlands website i found myself taking a particular liking to the "octane" shocker. now i realize this is a wdp website, i allready have an 05 speed, a force 4, and am looking forward to the g7 so i know how great their products are allready, but i was wondering if any one has any experiences with a shocker.......whether they are low pressure or not....rof....dependability..and so on and so forth...i suppose i could find this info elsewhere but everyone on this site seems rather intelligent...thanks.

I have owned several shockers, around 4, and currently own one. They are pretty good guns over all, they run on around 180psi so yea they are very low pressure. The vision eye in them is not the best in the world, due to it not being a break beam. The vision on them acutually a one piece deal where that one side of the eye sends out light, and the other side recieves it. There is some problems with this system where that it doesn't detect darker color'd balls. As far as depentablity they are ok, not as good as angels. There is alittle more general care you have to take with the gun as far as lubing goes, and you can't do that you are a pus***.
These guns are very light, and incrediably small, that is why l love them so. I have only owned stock versions of the guns with none custom trigger frames, I mention that because I am not the biggest fan of the tightness of the area where that your fingers are supposed to move in order to pull the trigger. When the shockers first came out they wasted alot of air due to the bolt design, now I believe all shockers come with an upgraded bolt, and it helps alot.
On this site you will find several guys that believe that Angels are the by far the best gun ever, so you will probally get a couple of shocker/SP haters replying in this thread. I feel like I have given a pretty good overall summary of these guns in general, they are very light/small, alittle more maintenance but if you can't do it your a fag, and I don't care for the stock trigger frame which it looks like the strange has. There is other versions of the shocker that has a different trigger frame that looks like it gives you more space.
I believe that there would be no gun out there better then if somebody owned a ton ton shocker and had a break beam eyes installed in it. Here is a link to the new ton ton shocker.

personaly i have some problems with them
my teammate had a stock 2k4 shocker and had all kinds o problems with it...like not being albe to make a dynasty trigger work with it...or the board for that matter
but hey they are one of if not the smallest and lightest guns out there...and if thats what floats your boat then go for it
