I just wanted to get some opinions on my "Creation", I know the eyes don't look the best but from a functional point of view they work great(makes it easy to disconnect if you need to remove the frame). Its a Wasd and Aced LED(not sure what model). When I bought the angel it needed a new wiring harness and a new battery which made it a perfect candidate for ths project. I milled out the inside of the frame a little to accept the board and removed the stock battery, helping to shave some weight. I then plugged the battery chamber and drilled into the LP passage. I removed the LPR, stock spring, and Retaining pin for the LPR and sealed the hole for the pin and the hole into the LP passage. Then I took a front plug and drilled/tapped it for a AKA SCM2 LPR. I purchased a LP spring, LP Valve Stem/Cupseal, and a Speed Spring Guide. Cross drilled the body and installed the eyes. So, the stock battery location is a large LP chamberand the and stock air chamber is approx. 3 times larger. Any comments would be welcome. O yeah I am useing a 32Deg. Pro Bolt (the ones with the Foamy on the bolt face, it helps alot with the ball placement when useing a Halo)

Its not the prettiest led...but from a performance stand point it looks like you did a great job with it. One of the guys at my local field did the same thing as you in terms of opening up the air chambers and everything. He runs a Palmers Micro rock on the one side though. Anyway great job and it looks like you have a good gun there.

Yeah, my intent was to make the best perfoming angel I possibly could. Also I figured for the price I ogt it for I could do a little "experimenting". The Camera flash messed up the coloration, the parts actually aren't that far off. I have thought about sending ot off to get it annoed. Here is the color I am thinking of, let me know what you think.

Well, I haven't contacted Crazy Ivan I was just using it as as example. Also it seems you have to come up with a large batch of markers in order to get it done. I was gonna try and see if MAX can match it, they're pretty good at that. You mean you saw it on PBN also?

That gun was posted here on AOG in the angel led classified section, there is the picture of the purple led with the same junkies sticker on the side....He wanted like $180 for it.... MAX does some good work as well, and I have heard good things about Dirt Products as well...

I forgot a pic of the backplate, it didn't come with one so I improvised and I think it looks nice.

the LED is for the WAS board and the plate is made from lexan.

Nice gun man. Ive never had the opportunity to shoot or even see an LED Angel, but I imagine that your LED shoots better then most. A video on the way maybe? And as for the backplate..isnt lexan usually really thin and flexible? Not much protection from the paintball trenches if its as thin as Im thinking it is.

slinkyonrampage: Thanks, and I'll definatly do that.

P8ntSlinger44: Thank you, I'll have to make a vid. Normaly it would be, but I used 1/8 industrial Lexan(had some lying around from another project) which in a large sheet is still fairly flexable but in a small piece like the backplate its pretty rigid.

That isn't my only LED

i usually dont like the splash annos, but that is nice, and about the lexan backplate, i dont think a paintball would break it, and if it is flexible that would b better. A really hard backplate that is thin would probably break if it was a type of plastic. But the backplate rearely gets hit. And a vid would b pretty kool. and 1 last thing r u ever going to get eye covers, can u fit eye covers?

I have thought alot about it and the main problem I see is setting it up so that the eyes come into the frame directly below the eye hole with out cutting into the air passage. I'm more interested in how it performs than how it looks.

yea, whats the pressure it runs at, is it still HP or is it now LP?

To be honest I haven't gauged the Mini reg to check,I would say mid-low like 300-350psi. I know my eclipse runs at about 450-500 psi, but its not exactly a "stock" LED.
