Hey does anyone have any advice for a first time tournament player? I have played rec for years just for fun and just never had time to put into a paintball team but my school (TCU) has started puting together a team and started to play. I hear these college teams are just horrible but I am sure I am no better considering i have zero tournament experience. I expect it will be very fast and intense. Can anyone give me some advice to be at least somewhat sucessful in our first tournament? I will be happy if we win a game =)
Thanks

What tournament are you guys playing in? Most of the colleges have good teams put together, as a lot of them play on other teams. Like Purdue has a very good team, as does Michigan State, etc..

Talk, talk, and talk.
Tell your team where the other team and make sure your 'mates tell you.
Have fun and make see an ANGEL!

Communication is number one. Keep your gun up. Walk the fields and talk strategy as soon as you're allowed and write stuff down to review before the game. Watch your opponents and take note of how they play ahead of time. Have fun, take pride in your angel, and own muppets!

Don't Wipe. Move. Learn How To Bunker. Don't Be Trigger Shy.

communication is key. Always gotta know where they r and how many of them left there is. Also be agressive, never hesitate. If u want to take a bunker, don't think about it, just take it. If u get out, big deal, at least it wasn't cause u sat in ur bunker and did nothing.

yes, above all, have fun. It's not worth the money, the time, the effort, to go out there and not have fun.
