Stupid Angel cleaning question

OK, I know you're supposed to oil the ASA, but how exactly do u do that? I'm pretty sure the asa is the upper part of the front foregrip. Am I right? But how do u get to it? Should i unscrew the macroline? Or is there a way to take the lower part off? Thanks in advance, sorry for the question.

well i did a quick oil and just put the oil right into the mini reg, so it would oil the mini reg a bit and then get to the asa eventually...but to get to your asa just unscrew your mini reg...and if you ever want to take it off...they have a thing isnide where you unscrew it and it will come right off the body

Oh boy.

An ASA is short for Air Source Adapter, or the thing you screw your tank into.

If you dont have an ASA (for example if you were running an Angel AIR etc) then you could simply pop the macroline out of the fitting (leave the fitting screwed in, just pop the actual hose out) and put the 1-2 drops of oil in there.

The piece above the minireg is called the flashtank.

Do you need a certian oil? I don't remember where I read it,and it lookslike the guy was a jokenow,but I thought you weren't supposed to run oil through it like that?
I use KAPP gun oil. I know about lovejuice, but im not to keen on paying that much for it..

It is perfectly fine to run oil through the gun that way. I use love juice, love grease, and gold cup...nothing else but one of those 3. Few drops in the asa or in the macro, some grease on the hammer, shoot it through all nice and you are ready to rock....

Gold cup is EVIL. Don't use that §§§§. Ken showed me what happens when you use that stuff. Black sludge in your air passages after a while. NOT GOOD.

And yes I know it used to be recommened, but its not anymore!

Well its a good thing I haven't used it in a few years...lol I have been working on a hugh stash of Love Juice...alright so no Gold Cup.....
