LCD board Problems

I am new to paintball, and I just purchased a used Angel lcd, 2003 model. The board showed a high shot count, and seemed to work fine. Today I plugged the charger in and a bunch of odd characters appeared on the lcd screen. Now everytime I turn the gun on it seems to stay stuck in the test mode, where all posible words and characters light up on the lcd. Is the board fried or the lcd screen ?
Or is there somethign else going on?
Please help. Any suggestions would help.

hurm is it any time the board is turned on it does this? Can u turn the gun and then push the red button and get it out of safe mode?

Its all the time. Like its locked in this test mode.

Board might be fried.... or a a connection isnt god. Make sure everything is connected good to the board and battery...
