Why does my bolt stick? Today is the first day its ever done that. I cleaned and rebuilt my maxflow reg and just got the tank back from hydrotesting. It was causing the problems I've had in the past. The doesn't really stick, it just misfires sometimes and it will actually fire on the second pull.

Second question, is the evil valve + hammer any good? I'd like to update both, I think I still have the original internals.

evil valve blows, does nothing.
if your bolt is delrin and it has absorbed oil it prolly swelled up
i have a Ti hammer and i like it, lighter (Ti) means higher rof but heavy (ss) means lower pressure
and sell that maxflow on ebay
smart parts products should not touch angels, they are like leprecy.

I have a Bonebrake bolt, oil may have caused that, I forgot to check to make sure oil didn't get on it. I'll check that out. I totally forgot about that. I def want a new hammer/valve, but i don't want to spend the money for the aka valve, any suggestions? I already checked the lpr, its fine, the hamer looks a little rough and i need to set the ram. I have a fbm trigger on the way, so i'm gonna be working on it anyway. It def needs a oring kit. I lost the damn oring that goes in the breech and i have a real slight leak at the vert adapter.

Unless your valve is acting up I wouldn't worry about changing it. I still use my stock valve. As for a hammer either get a Titanium Hammer or a SS Hammer. Yeah swelling of your bolt could have caused sticking. Just clean it off and let it air dry and then try again. I would get rid of the max flo as well...just my opinion as I dont think they are good...Yeah an O-Ring kit would be good, and for the vert adapter leak where is it leaking from. If it is between the body and the vert adapter there is an o-ring there and that might need to be replaced. go to www.angelparts.com they have the best selection of LED parts.

wow, i was in the exact same situation a couple months ago
i got the delrin FBM trigger - good
i got the evil valve kit - useless and i took it out
got the Ti hammer - good
and i adjusted my ram
i almost went for a bonebrake bolt but i made a shocktek into a soft face instead

I had the shocktech in it before. The bonebrake was an improvement over it. My velocity went up about 10-15 fps I believe, I did that a few years ago. What about the NewDesignz bolt? Where should I look for the Ti and the SS hammers? Thanks for the headsup on the evil valve, now I won't waste my money on it.

That oring where the air line comes out of the vert adapter is where it is leaking.

Yeah just replace that o-ring and lube it up and you should be fine.

Ideas on where to buy hammers? I'll prolly just grab a stock lcd valve. I checked the bolt, there is't any oil on it, its dry.

Any of the MT's sell hammars. www.angelparts.com
www.fixmyangel.com
I am sure action village sells them as well. www.paintballgear.com

Hammers are easy to find, pretty much any store that sells angel parts will have hammers.
