View Full Version : Just a question about demo mode.

I don't have software version 3 and I know that the TR on led 6 equals demo mode. I also understand that it is not designed to fire if it detects a ball in the breach for safety reasons. However, what I was wondering, what would prevent someone from removing the eyes ribbon cable from the opto switch, setting the gun on demo mode and using a halo with victory board to make that sucker rip. I own an angel 05 speed and I recently got my butt handed to me by another player that had the same gun. I know I got 18+ balls on me in less than a second. I spoke with him after the game and asked what settings he had the marker on and everything was stock, no evolve, bolt, or any other mods, just one volumizer and an lp tank. He even let me see his settings under the grip, however, I noticed he kept his fingers covering the opto board where the wires connect. I offered him my 05 to shoot to see if he could get mine anywhere near as fast, and it was not even close even though our settings matched and the trigger was set the same distance. What gives? Is there a chance he pulled the wire and ran in demo, or is there some type of ramping software out for the angel? I need to know because this guy is on another league me and my teammates will play soon and just in practice, I got :owned:. My buddies Russian timmy couldn't even keep up with this guy but his fingers didn't look remotely as fast as mine.

I think that the eyes only fire if they see each other, in demo mode.

Demo mode has massive Ramping and Bounce. He may have done something to his eyes so that they think they are constantly working fine.

Demo mode is only activated when the two eyes can see each other indicating that there is no ball in the breech.

When you unplug the eyes, demo mode is deactivated because there is no complete circuit from the eyes saying that there is no ball.
