Question regarding low pressure.

Here is my current setup.

05 Speed with Medium Volumizer
Dwell 11
LPR set at 40psi
Chrono speed at 290

Out of box the lpr was set at 60psi.
Dropped 2 shims and lowered the pressure to 40 psi.

I have zero shoot down to my knowledge.

My question should not be related to the things I have done to my gun but I am curious. My paint is all over the place. I am 99% sure it was the cheap crap I bought at the local store (Flash on sale). There wouldn't be any other deciding factor of why it would be off? I am shooting a Stiffi Switch with a .691 bore. I also tried the stock barrel and got the same results. So I am pretty sure it was paint related.

I tried to chop the paint I had by forcing a chop and it bounces off the paint.

If there is no shoot down, this should be a sweet setup correct?

looks like a sweet setup to me. i would guess that if your velocity is consistent, then its not your settings that are causing the problem.

That was my guess also. The balls are whipping left, right, down, all over. I need to hit a chrono over the weekend to rip a string and see what the last shot is to see if it is shooting down. My own 2 eyes say no, but who knows.

if its goin left and right also, then even if the velocity is inconsistent i would think theres something else causing a problem too.

I'm thinking crappy paint. I picked up a case of All Star and a case of Evil for this weekends indoor practice. I'll know more then.

dude if your bores on right then the problem must be the paint is realy inconsistant on size or the balls are misshaped. Ive used all stars and evils and both those are awsome for accuracy

It was the paint. Shot a case of Marbs and a case of Evil and they shot like darts all day long. Sweet!
