Weird 05 Speed Problem

I just recieved my speed a few days ago and was testing out all of the settings and stuff. I was messing with the trigger response settings and set it to 5. This worked out really great, it was flying fast. So just to see what more I could get out of it I tried setting 6. I went outside turned it on it just would not fire. It said it was on, it said that the eyes were on, it said the eyes detected a ball, when I pulled the trigger it just made that electronic clicking sound that it makes and the lights flashed each time I pulled the trigger. It just wouldn't fire. I tried holding the trigger down to turn of the eyes and even that wouldn't work. I then took the hopper off and made sure nothing was going to be fired. Then I turned the marker back on and pulled the trigger expecting nothing to happen since the eyes were on and..... IT FIRED. Now it would fire even though the eyes indicated that no ball was present, and the eye was deffinately on. I switched back to trigger response 5 and everything was back to normal. Has this ever happened to anybody?

thats called demo mode

if you have software version 3 I believe you are in demo mode when all 6 leds are on for your TR setting

Cool. So what does that mean? ("demo" mode). Is it supposed to not work?

demo mode basically is used to show off the high cycle rate of the marker. it has a safety mechanism so that it can be fired inside safely. that is what you called the problem. its meant to dry fire very quickly but not fire if a ball is detected. nothing wrong with it, you just have version 3

Mine is a version 2 and on sunny days it wont work, i have to turn it back on. then it works fine.

mine used to do that, then it stopped doing that about 3 weeks into playing with it. how long have you had you speed?

I had mine since november. I live in the caribean and i go to play every sunday and only a few moments when the sky's are cloudy that's when i really enjoy my 05.
